Wait a minute. We HAVE a bar. Why aren't we listening to road games at Whiskey Charlie's? Surely they could get a speaker system and connection for their home team. Plus, if they pitching collapses, you'd have a way to drown your sorrows. If they play like usual, you celebrate!

I think there is at least one bus trip to Ft Worth being planned (we had one last year, which was a lot of fun, once someone told the driver where the ballpark was.)

I'm wondering how many people could take the time off to make it to games much further than that, although it might be worth a try. I was disappointed to learn we missed Tamale Tuesday in El Paso last night.

For some of the other teams I've followed, you would just find a bar / restaurant and watch the game together, but when the only option is Internet radio, I'm not sure how many people would want gather in a sports bar to huddle around a laptop, although I'd be up for it.

I really miss the games when they are on the road. Does anyone have connections to get a bus for people to go to the games that are out of town? It would be great to have a big group there to support the players.

Michael Arata has purhased season tickets to the Bossier Captains, and isn't starting the Airhogs fan club.

I left forms at the Fan Assistance booth for people to complete if they're interesting in starting the AirHogs Booster Club. I hope everyone joins me in getting this going!

Good crowd at the season opener. I was also shocked at seeing a commerical on Fox 4 the other night! We all need to spread the word about the greatness of minor league baseball in the beautiful mini-opolis of Grand Prairie.
